Came home from Wiveliscombe to Wellington to absolute hailstorm and it covered the roads pavements .it looked like it had snowed ...... Looking towards to tomorrow it looks awful , just hope that everyone stays safe ............. -
Winds really picking up now .....................and battering the house ............and rain sounding like nails being thrown against the window .

Looking very grim in Taunton and the surrounding area .A tree fell down in our school today - luckily all is well and no one hurt .Fields can't take anymore water -but we are lucky in that the council have really stepped up the drain clearing .However the water is pouring off the fields ................ Really feel for all who are caught up in the flooding ...... And hope all goes well for the new arrival Karlos 1983 ............:-) .......and enjoy :-)

Aerial blown off of roof- the wind is roaring and road between Taunton an d Wellington is becoming or is flooded -large branches and debris everywhere . Need to buy a weather Station - blowng a gale isn't cutting it ! aNYONE NEAR TAUNTON /WELLINGTON have any stats for wind speed etc ?? Huge rumbleof thunder I believe ...............or the wind stepping up a notch

MMM currently experiencing a very heavy shower with some hail mixed in for good measure here, on a lovely blustery wind, ...........no trace of the beautiful sunshine we had this morning .

John Hammond on bbc 10.30 weather forecast said wet and windy for all on Sunday ....he didn't look at all comfortable . But tomorrow looks bright -after a wet old night ..........

I would say that the outlaying districts will be under water too- it seems very windy again too........or is that my imagination ??? How heavy rain are we talking here ?! Ah, didn't see yourr comment as I was busy posting mine ! LOL

Torrential rain again after a lull with gusty winds.............

Really calm here .............very spooky.Fences, tree branches and the like have caused disruption.M5 lines closed due to surface water between j 25-26 ....... WhaT a day !

Not surprised at those wind speeds....Plymouth is windy at the best of times.............. Fence panels of neighbours have gone and the noise is eerie ............

Sorry dec10snow -didn't catch the fence panel .................bit .That isn't fun .......... It is horrible out there .Branches are down on the A38 between Welly and Taunton.........take care out there .........

It is pretty violent out there now ..............I haven't heard the wind howling like this in a very longtime ..............................I don't have a weather station so can't give any figures -but any ideas ?

Very gusty here as well.Although saying that there seems to be a lull atm ,but all afternoon violent gusts have blown trees around .
