    Still snowing lightly here in Wellington.Roads shut all over the place in Somerset.According to bbc weather snow due to keeping going until 5am.Earlier in the day it had showed it fizzling out in the early hours.Be interesting to see how this will turn out.

    Just caught sky news forecast ( not sure how accurate it is), but it said that sleet/ snow pushing in from the SW later.Anyone else broadcasting /forecasting that? Very cold here at the moment.(need to get a weather monitor methinks.I am very underequipped).

    Bitterly cold this morning.Snow settled on cars ,but none on the roads.

    Snow stopped and now melted.

    Still snowing here.It has warmed slightly and the wind has dropped , so although it has snowed for most of theday it hasn't settled.

    Ours has in Somerset.Yaaay.Not that I am happy you understand........... vey light snow here atm, but if Cornwall is getting more snow then I guess we could be in line for more too. It's the wind that is so bitterly cold.Brrr definitely a day to stay in doors and sort out a bedroom or two!

    A few flakes settled on his head before disappearing ! a few flakes fell at lunch time where i work.I am a little sceptical abt tomorrows forecast.We will see.

    Had quite a bit of snow this morning .My cat was not impressed.My Kids however were. They have been told that if it snows overnight don't bother going to school.

    In Cornwall apparently it could turn to rain according to BBCnews forecast a minute ago.Snow and heavy over Bristol way at Midday it looked like. My knees and joints are really playing me up.I'm going out to get petrol, coal and wood plus pain relief just in case getting about becomes"interesting"

    Just seen bbc news forecast OH MY WORD, quite a bit of snow forecast.Could be interesting.Chilly wind now atm, and overcast too.. We will just have to wait for the morning I guess.

    Yes the dry weather will give me a chance to wash the car and give me a chance to look at the swamp of a back garden! Lots of sand and grit to be added i think.It is very heavy soil .

    Wellington hasn't missed the showers this evening.Very blustery and wet.Heavy at times and aa definite nip in the air.:-)

    Not very cheeful here .Plenty of rain here too.Wind abated.

    The wind is very strong at the moment .Opened the back door to let the dog out and she was blown backwards into the kitchen ! i am not sure if there is a faiint rumble of thunder as well, or if it is t he wind blowing over some object. According to weatjer obs at Dunkeswell station the wind is gusting at 47km/h.
