    mORE rain on its way but not as heavy .I don't think it matters, one drop is too much at the moment.Hope people on here are safe.So sad that a young lady has lost her life.Or anyone come to that. Take care everyone.

    Sounds awful.I'm in Somerset not far from Taunton to my north and exeter to my south.I guess that the rain will push back down into Weston??I'm hopeless with directions (if you didn't realise). ooo update on Sky news, perranporth residents told to move out because of danger to life. Torrential rain still in Plymouth and Exter(30 mins away from me ) and Exmouth cut off .Poor people.Heart goes out to them.

    Yes you probably will.South West is due to keep this up until midnight(jst watching bbc news weather).I am okay thank you.Villages and roads to and from Wellington aren't good. To those in Cornwall ,thinking of you..Sounds a nightmare. Rain heavy still.

    steady rain for most of the day , with some heavier pulses at times.was windless at first, just noticing now branches slightly swaying.NItnothing to be worried abt for the moment.Drains have been cleared again. My lights keep dipping though.not sure if weather related though.Stay safe everyone.

    My thoughts exactly.I did feel for my elderly neighbour though.She says she was ok, but you could hear the panic in her voice. STill raining.Guess it will be here for a while????

    The intensity of the squall passes but the wind drops and the steady rain just keeps on well ,steadily falling! to those in Welly ,trees have fallen in champford and Bulford lane ,westford flooded too.Pleas stay safe.

    Yes in a word! the bottom of my road is flooded.Never seen that in 17yrs! Don't go near Seymour street!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm in Wellington and yes i'd agree a monsoon.My back fence has gone .Not good,are you ok? my Son just arrived home and I'm relieved.
