theres not much laying here now but i cant complain, it Still somehow caused my college to be closed for Three days!!

This is weird i just seen to things i never seen at the same time!! -- snowing and sunny, maybe i'll see a Snowbow next? And the sun and moon Right next to each other (bit behind cloud so you could look at dem) , almost colliding into oblitteration. good to see how low we go tonight, make a stab at -7C, the coldest so far here has been -6.5C, google earth says its -12C currently in ayelsbury but that must be a glich because a town near it says -1C. too so confusing!

on google earth it has high wycombe as -9C at 8pm, is it going to get immensely cold or sumthing? its only -2C here...

Where is the best place to find your asl for where you live, I thought Burgess Hill was 167 m but now just seen a site which says 44m ??

Google Earth it gives Elevation abv/ below sea level anywhere in the world clearly.

Yep, looking at the travel cams, quite a few places in central london has no lying snow. Its always a struggle to get it to settle in the centre of town. Too many people, too many cars, too many buildings. But just a couple of miles out of the centre and there's plenty of lying snow. An untouched coating of about 3cm's round here. In the Southern and South-western suburbs its probably a lot more.

im in the in the SW suburbs, just south of heathrow, probs been about 3cm but it is melting slowly, nothing compared to haslemeres 30cm!! guildford must be pretty good 2.

Started snowing moderately here, getting heavier and it's already a whiteout! was about to o to bed.. not anymore!

There is thick lying snow in the Chilterns, absolutely beautiful. We had loads on Thursday night which hasn't melted so it is amazing now.

Awesome!! i might try cycling there like high wycombe, but it is an awefully long way :[ hey it will count for ALL my excercise over the christmas period [im usually a lazy basta*d]
