Just woken up to some sort of dusting of snow. The hills look covered and a relative in a higher part of Burnley says they have a load of snow.

Woke up (6.30) to gentle snow here in Dublin. Snow stopped at about 7.30 but there is a good cover on cars, roofs and grass (melted off roads).

No snow activity around here...Just a huge quasi-stationary blob of cirrostratussy poo, that seems to be snuffing-out the showers before they get here. I think it must be associated with some-sort of polar low? Whatever it is - it reforms at its back-edge as fast as it moves away!!!
