Guest Sir Seany

I was very rainy not long ago but its stopped now, and the wind has dropped too, my barometer is setting off its storm alarm which it hasnt done for two years, temp is 9c, but i think it could drop within the next 12 hours as the polar maritime air comes in, sorry to sound over dramatic, but i think almost anywhere can and will see snow over the next 48 hours :)

Light rain here now!!!

Wow- the heavens opened just 10 minutes ago, and the temperature fell from 9.5C to 6.5C instantly.

According to the sferics, thunderstorms even penetrated locally to the east coast of Scotland from this band! I didn't notice any thunder here, but it was an amazing enough frontal event.

Alness, Highland - Part 2

Almost into tomorrow, but the snow arrived here this evening, I was up at my parents and the drive home wasn't the best.

No persistant snow, but very blustery snow showers, the ground is pretty we so nothing really lying on the roads or pavements, but the grass and trees have quite a bit of snow on the windward sides.

Looks as though it could be a stormy night ahead for us.

Current temp = 0.4'C

Pressure - 995mb

Wind - 17mph (W) gusts upto 32mph
