Well, if you look ever so carefully at the met office 1530 radar you can see 2 tiny light blue echoes over Wiltshire. One of them has just stopped today ranking on the 'dry days' total for March. A totally pointless and useless light rain shower and it's not even wetted the ground.

Otherwise a mild, calm and bright day with brief sunny breaks.

After the last few days of anticylonic gloom, today felt very pleasant with lots of sunshine, little cloud and no wind for most of the day. it was also the mildest day since January 7th and shunted up my March average by 0.5°C. In the last few hours it has once again clouded over, meaning another mild night to come, which will further chip away at the CET.
