Been a generally overcast/nothing day with occasional sunshine and one snow flurry.

Had light rain at around midday this turned to wet snow briefly around 2pm but fizzled out. Totally overcast damp/cold day.

Very light NE wind and currently 0.9C for last hour or so.

Overcast all day with thick fog for most of it. Light snow from 1100 until 1500, followed by a short burst of small hail before it died out.

An interesting snowline this evening. By early afternoon there was a thin cover of lying snow down to 220m with 1.5cm at 1400, this slowly thawed when the snow died out. By 1800 there was no more than a little slushy snow in the grass at 300m, slightly more at 320m but at 330 everywhere remains white with a 90% cover of a shovel bending 0.7cm of damp snow. At 350m the cover is 100% but still only 0.7cm deep.
