A cold and clear start with a hard frost led to a sunny morning. Cloud built through the day however and by the latter part of the afternoon it became mostly cloudy. The evening was much the same, though there have been a few clear spells in the last few hours. Temperatures were below average for the time of year, feeling rather cold in a moderate easterly wind.
