A quite ridiculous 22.6c here at 0900 b.s.t, this after a min' of 18.6c which is the highest July min' in 44 years of records and the equal second highest min' for any month.

No early morning cirrus or altocumulus this morning so we've had just over 4 hours of sunshine already.

I can see the local July max' record going today.

That means I'm nearly 2 degrees ahead of the temperature at midday yesterday, and we got up to 30.3º max.

If things go the same way I might top 31º, maybe even hit 32º, which is extreme for the North East.
