Seriously foggy here in Oxford, and it's been getting steadily thicker since sunrise. Visibility must be down to around 100m. Temperature struggling as a result, and currently just 1.7C

Temp currently at 2C. I have no idea how cold it got last night as I didn't record it. Certainly was frosty and icy this morning; still some icy patches around now.

Afternoon all.

The fog this morning was pretty impressive over the Lincolnshire Wolds - patchy freezing fog with temperatures around or marginally below freezing and visibility down to approximately 30 yards in the really thick patches.

Conditions: After a dissapointing cloudy start (with no fog, just a sort of haze) which helped the temp rise to 4.8°C its now more or less clear now with some hazy sunshine.

This daily report is earlier than my usual because I'm off soon to (probably foggy) Devon for football this evening.

It's been an eerie day with mist patches rolling down from Salisbury Plain and forming into low cloud, however at times we've had bright sunshine. Calm throughout.

Misty now with lightbulb sun setting. Max 5c, 4c now.
