strange happening yesterday and overnight and even now. Cloudy, yes, used to that, but something wet falling from it.

An endangered South Yorkshire species it seems. reference books call it 'rain' !

Not much mind you, barely 1mm in 24 hours but still made the ground just about wet.

The other new species, high temperatures continues also.

Midnight temp was 14.8C, the average Max daytime temp for mid May!!

Min was 13.9C, and that is higher than the average min temp for mid summer. Its now up to 14.9C with very slight rain.

GW, never, AGW, ridiculous. Someone has just fast forwarded the months by about 4 I reckon!

Overcast with 8 oktas stratus and intermittent light drizzle. Light rain continued all last night and gave another 8.2mm, yesterday's total was therefore 14.4mm, well above what was initially forecast.

Foggy at first this morning but the stratus lifted a bit around 0800 and there are now just patches of scud drifting across the hills.

Wind is 20 mph SW, vis' 4 miles.

Temp' is 12.0c after an overnight min' of 11.9c, a bit above what I'd expect in July.
