May. I washed my face in the dew on some heather yesterday.

Anyway, lovely nw photographers - let's get those fingers clicking and those shutters buzzing and post into this thread any photos taken during April 2007 that you wish to enter into our Monthly Photo Competition. Maximum three entries per member.

This month we are introducing an explicit rule - PLEASE ONLY POST PHOTOS THAT ARE IN SOME WAY RELATED TO THE WEATHER DURING THE MONTH. We are part of a weather community afterall.

Remember:

Entries will NOT be accepted if they're sized above 1024 x 768.

So please resize.

Here's a free resizing programme - it really couldn't be easier:

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/jresizer.html

Or for Macs:

http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Graphics/iResize.shtml

As usual, the winning entry will be the photo for May in the 2008 netweather.tv calendar.

Happy snapping

Do they have to be taken during May 2007 or can they be last year or the year before?

post-4726-1179007753_thumb.jpg Force 7 off Ventnor. Taken from the western seafront cliff car park 09:05:2007 at 1945hrs. It is often rough, even for the slightest breath of wind off of Ventnor :)

Not uploaded a photo for the comp for a while, so here you are, just some clouds but so much variation, well I think so anyway!

Lovely sunset there Gav.

Never been luck enough to see one like that myself, though. :D Is it in Australia or New Zealand by any chance? :D

Nice photo, Russ, amazing colours.. when and where was it taken?

Hi Kelly.

It was taken on the 15th at 20:34hrs. From Bembridge(Palmerston)Fort on Culver down, Looking towards The New Forest/Dorset direction.

For you interest it was shot at the following:- Focal length 148mm F2.8 Exposure 1/500 sec, I think the ISO was 400 but I can't be certain, as that bit frustratingly does not auto record.

Regards,

Russ
