Snowing here and has been for an hour now, flakes started small now getting bigger.

I got a light covering overnight.2cm on cars,roofs and gardens.Melted now.

Had about 4/5 bursts of snow today and 2 of them gave a short intense snowfall. It has not settled though.

Very, very light snow has just started to fall in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire - not even enough to constitute a shower, but its a start!

333 feet above sea level.

me is had snow flurries this afternoons! they is got bit heavy at times but certainlys no settlings! it is stops at round 4pms! very cheely day iswells with temps less thans 3c all days. last night is was -1.5 and sevrest firosts evers!!!

Woke up to a cm or so this morning here in South Herefordshire, and enough to push together everything from the cars and chairs etc to make a mini snowman lol!

Now all that's left of him is a little white lump on the garden table, but I stuck him in the freezer for a while earlier and now he's a nice solid and quite substantial lump lol!

All the snow was gone by lunchtime though, it drizzled all morning :cry:

Still I got some decent photos, does anyone know how I can upoad them?

There was snow in Newcastle. Where I was, however, on the east coast of Tyneside, we had nothing more than sleety drizzle and the temperature stayed above 2C.

Strange- that's 2 snowfalls I've largely missed because I was on the east coast while inland areas got some significant snow, yet on neither of the occasions was the wind coming off the sea!
