Some stunning photo's this month. Especially love Hemlocks first Photo, would have loved to have been there to capture that shot. Welldone.

Have been busy with work and looking after baby 'Harry', so haven't had a chance to get out for 5/6 weeks now :) Missed it.

If you look carefully, there's an upside down rainbow here (What's the term for this ??). Sorry about the quality, it's on my phone.

I saw one of these on the 13th July 2004. It was seen widely across Lincolnshire ,Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

Its called a Circumzenithal arc and is quite rare. It comes from refraction through ice crystals as opposed to water droplets. Thats why its seen higher in the sky.More info here:
