Few more light snow showers this morning before it brightened up. Heavy snow shower about 1pm started of as hail that gave a temporary covering lasting 20 minutes. Temperature dropped from 4.4C to 1.2C, now rising again in bright sunshine though can see the next shower to the NE.

Not much to write about. Brief dusting this morning which quickly melted. Brief drive past Fox house around 10:30 this morning nothing of note there either just a dusting.

Snow stopped for a short while but is snowing quite heavily again- as I write it has eased again, I would say the side roads are getting covered now but the main roads are completely clear at this altitude. I would think anyone brave enough to drive over Carter Bar would have problems.

Partial cover of frozen snow pellets at 7-30 am but all melted now as there has been virtually unbroken sunshine since then.

4 inch covering this am, currently melted away by sun, but more snow showers currently falling. Not sure if owt else will follow.....

Mix of heavy snow/hail showers and sunny spells throughout the day.

Very little in the way of settling.
