Bloody awful day here. 18mm of rain since 7am, bringing the total since Saturday to 105mm. Last year we had 36mm during the whole of the month. Also currently 11.1C, second only to Feb 28th last year in terms of mildest February day.

To make things worse, my mum's coming over. I'm fed up.

Currently 16ºC!!!

What on earth is happening? It's February for heavens sake not April!

Very very windy though, currently 23mph gusting to 38 mph.

Hope the cold returns soon, looks like it may do middle of next week? Fingers crossed anyway!

14C dull and dry and windy. If we could have a bit of sun, the Hazelrigg record of 14.5C on 15 February 1998 could be under threat.

Note that even that record was set under cloudy skies.

temperatures have stayed at 15.5 C for the past 2 hours.. gusts of 30mph, but even with that, it still feels very very mild for an early february day. Hopefully the rest of the month will cancel this exceptional mildness off.....

Absolutely bucketing down with rain, as it has been for much of the day. 11.5 degrees, a high of only 12 degrees compared to others

Gusty winds..... a pretty disastrous day
