Thunderstorm in Manchester at 5pm - very loud but too light to see much lightning.

Another one on its way by the looks and sounds of things

for all those living in the west midlands area, im sure you were excited to see the intensity of that thunderstorm just passed, 5 flashes counted there, and a very torrential downpour indeed. hopefully more to come.

A short lived storm just finishing here now.

Interrupted the power for a few secs.

We've had 12mm of rainfall so far today.

Been thundering on and off all afternoon here, with some of the most intense rainfall I have ever seen too!

It was a brief storm here. only a couple of flashes seen and the thunder stayed distant :D

The rain was moderate and lasted only about 15 minutes.

Best go and check the shed to see if the roof leaked (again)

It really wasn't that intense here just a few rumbles, the best of it missed us, the rain was quite heavy though.

Thunderstorm here between 1655 and 1725 g.m.t, the first overhead storm here this year. Heavy rain but not torrential and, as the storm began to move away, there was 5 minutes of hail between 9 and 11 mm diameter.

About 8mm of rain fell during the storm, the heaviest rain seemed to be about a mile S/SE of me.

BL.

Two storms here yesterday:

First Storm: thunder heard 16:50 last thunder from this storm 17:29. About one flash every 2 minutes CG and IC lightning;

Second Storm: thunder heard 20:51, last thunder heard 21:15. Storm was weakening all the time and lost electrification: only a few rumbles heard although earlier on lots of lighning could be seen to the SW as the as the storm approached.

Muff.
