It was -2.5º C overnight here.

Our 7th Frost in 8 days ! Heck.

Largely blue sky and sunshine now and reading 1º C at the mo'.

It just shows you the difference that a few miles can make. We had a minimum temperature last night of 1.4C and have only had 1 air frost so far this month (-0.2C on the 3rd).

Currently 4.3C and sunny, though theres a lot of cloud around (as there was last night, hence the higher temp). The drier air and lower humidity associated with it have allowed things to dry out, so ice shouldnt be a problem tonight as it has been for the last two days.

Whilst driving about this morning (7am ish) there was very light snow coming down. Nice surprise but probably a "blink and you'll miss it" shower. Temp was about 1c.

That's interesting as we had a very thin covering of tiny, crunchy ice crystals over the paths this morning — on top of the frost. They melted about 10am. Our 9th frost this month — excellent stuff.

I missed the falling snow in Norwich at 7-9am, but it is clear that none of it settled here. There were some sleety showers shortly after midnight. Currently 4C and clouding over from the north, though those showers are reluctant to make it onshore at the moment. I hope some more can come in before the warmer air arrives, as the precip type indicator suggests they could still be wintry in nature when they make landfall.

Seems to be a developing shallow feature running down the North Sea. The track appears to bring it in across East anglia and the south east.

May generate some interest later this evening ??.

The temperature was -3c until about 08.30 when it began to rise slowly under unbroken sunny skies. Frost lingered in the shade and the maximum was 6c in early afternoon before it began to drop before sunset.

1c now on a clear, moonlit evening with frost reforming too  .
