Up to 8.5C. Some drizzle, warm front not far away, a cold front should then pass by bringing heavier rain tonight, and slightly cooler temps

Today is much milder - now 7.9c rising fast. Not stepped out to feel that tropical air just yet but I shall be doing! Just had some rain and once again its overcast...

It`s milder alright at 7.7c max but it still feels just as cold as the cold spell due to the strong winds yet and the house feels colder today.

Cold with no or very light wind doesn`t feel cold like today somehow.

Did have some drizzle.

8.4C and blowing a gale, with 38mm of rain aince midnight (45mm since it started raining).

Currently, this is the wettest day since October 23rd, but that will be beaten soon. The target is then to beat Dec 4th 2006 (41.2mm) and before that, the mother of wet days, January 6th and 7th 2005 when 131mm fell in 48 hours.

9c a little above average, but feels alot milder due to the recent cold snap. Escaped most of the rain that's affected the north west, but looks like it's on the move south eastwards now.

After a sunny start, it has been mostly cloudy all day but dry. Quite breezy this afternoon and hasn't felt much milder because of the wind, in fact just that bit more raw with a high of 7.6C which it is still at now.

Just been reading the Dec CET result thread and thought it would be an apt time to inform everyone of some dramatic temperature increases here in Brighton. The temperature has just changed from 7.56ºC to 7.57ºC in the last 10 seconds. Is that some kind of record?
