Green blobs approaching on the NW radar! Might see a decent covering after all. Sub zero so it will settle.

Anyone got any news on what the snow forecast is for Wiltshire, pref Chippenham if I'm being picky!! hehe! I'm in Bath at work at the moment, on and off heavy snow showers but no idea what's going on in my home town - the Mother wasn't very helpful!! Bless her! haha!

Not a lot. The main band to the east going in a north west direction.

cold over any snow fields... my max today was -2.4C ... which means that the lovely fluffy snow is now covering all the ice on the roads, but the amount of snow on the ponds is quite funny

Been above freezing most of the day here. Not supprised by you minus figure, that due to your elevation.

Snow again here in north BTL. Just literally swept in! Massive flakes! :)

Thought we'd missed that stuff to the south of us and to north over gloucester. Is this system pivoting?

Generally -2 to -3 but could be lower anywhere the skies clear for any length of time.

Hurrah!

Proper big flakes and it's sticking, even on the wet road.

I think the general consensus is that there is a band of reasonably heavy snow heading this way... wouldn't bet my life on it though :)

Looking at some radar loops it looks like we may have sustained snow for a while yet with some very heavy snow later on.

We will see though...

Really coming down at SY23 3BT now. This is what I call proper snow. Very quiet outside, snow dampening all sound. Starting to stick to the (wet) work car park but roads still ok.

haha! Cheeky! :( As long as it keeps snowing then I'm happy! Although I would rather be snowed in than snowed out! :( Just concerned about the drive home but fingers crossed it'll be ok! I want it to keep snowing as long as I get home basically!! :(
