Just got called into work (central Bristol) due to a power cut and it was snowing very hevy on my way backup the M5, saw loads of gritters as well, maybe three in a mile or so.

Just popped into 'snow reports' and i see Yatton has been having heavy snow. Maybe it's coming back up here.

Snow keeps falling moderate, taking a while to add up the totals, hopefully some heavier snow soon

As we're all snow watching tonite, just popped into the GFS 18z output and it's showing heavy snow for west country, thru' BTL, into Gloucs for early hours of thursday

Just watched BBC Newd 24 forecast - its showing raing for the south. I know where my money is going !

Don't think it will. Theres nothing to pep that bit up around here. Only chance now is the shower activity later on in the night but I think the chances of that are low for Bristol. Next big chance will be later on in the week now I think for us.

Sorry Woody! Bit of a generalisation by me, its snowy around south Ceredigion at least!

Eased now, temperatures on our side at -1c so it will still be there in the morning!

Nothing like as much as 2 years ago when we had 17cm here.

With regard to the Tavi / paignton / plymouth people;

The radar is now looking better than expected, the precipitation over north cornwall and South Wales is further south than forecast.

At 7.30pm i had all but given up, but at around midnight we will have some showers, leading to potentially a decent fall up to 9am.

We will see, it will be a matter of hit and miss for some areas.
