The temperature dropped to –1.3c and –5.3c on the snow cover. The minimum air temperature of –3.0c was recorded at the beginning of the 24hour period yesterday. At observation, thick fog and icy.

Currently dry and bright here with 7 oktas high cloud and intermittent fog. Last night's snow gave a fresh fall of 6.5cm and the average depth is now 16.1cm, the temperature rose a little above freezing around midnight but it didn't seem to affect the generally dry nature of the snow which continued to drift slightly in exposed areas.

The temperature at the moment is 0.4c after an overnight min' of -1.7c.

Don't have the rainfall figures yet as the snow from the gauge is still melting.

Hi mate. In places there is still about an inch of lying snow.

Most of the main roads are clear though. Im hoping the rain doesn't arrive here and wash the snow away :cold:

That's not a bad result actually, you should be quite pleased with that

I noticed on the radar lastnight that there appeared to be some heavier stuff heading for your area.

When I went to bed lastnight, I had a peep through the bedroom window, and it was a fantastic wintry scene with all the trees covered

in white, which were lit by the moon. Unfortunately, it's all disappeared from the trees, but I still have a fair amount lying on the ground.
