The dawned clear with a widespread slight frost, minimum –0.9c, grass minimum –3.4c. The morning up to reading time has been clear and sunny with a light wind and a rapidly rising temperature. A pleasant day followed with sunny spells, although, high and mid level cloud increased through the afternoon, hiding the sun for longer periods. Maximum temperature 14.1c. Maximum wind gust 17mph,SE.

Sun has got a bit hazy, temp peaked an hour or so ago at 17.3c its now steady at 17.2c but the wind has picked up a bit since eariler in the day.

Well I'm still awaiting for the first decent rainfall for around a month, had anticipated it being here by now but the radar shows it still 50+ miles to the West with any showery bits heading this way either dying out or not reaching the ground!

So, a pretty fine day so far with a misty start replaced by warm hazy sunny spells and the wind, which is increasing from the South along with thickening cloud, is quite warm feeling. The maximum so far today is 15.3c.

Currently : cloudy, lightbulb sun, windy, 13.5c, 65% humidity.
