Things are finally starting to cool down now, 26.9C after a high of 28.2C. Can't see us getting near that tomorrow, closer to 25C methinks.

Isle of Man has 25c thats 2c off the highest temp recorded there!!!!! Amazing my brothers with their personal trainer clients must be enjoying that!!!!! Only 22c here...... best of the temps in the next week for here..... pity.....

Next two weeks more like........doesn't look like we will see this again in the first half of June, at least!

Pretty sure I saw Shannon at 28C on the latest reports earlier today, though maybe it was rounded up... as of 7:00pm it's still 27C in a few locations on http://www.met.ie/latest/reports.asp

A definite change is in the air - a strange sight of cloud around + humidity has gone through the roof. Feels extremely close & sweaty here at the moment. The cycle home left me gasping for fresh air!

Feels more like a southerly wind coupled with a storm brewing rather than a cold front. No doubt an interesting change of air mass is upon us.

27.5c max but more realistically 26c much like yesterday. Some good sitting outdoors weather at the moment, less good for moving around!

Yes there's a real floral smell tonight everywhere you go. Certainly a difference to the recent breezy & fresh nights - tonight is very still, tender and laden with nice smells. Temps holding up too - now 22.4c.

Look at the difference between Glasgow and Prestwick - 13c in Glasgow but only 30 miles further south the cooler air hasn't reached Prestwick, it was still 20c at 20:50!
