Very warm indeed last night here, minimum 18.5c in the Stevenson Screen, the warmest since July 2006 (19.2c)

Interestingly I also keep a temperature sensor close to the north wall of my house, the temperature according to that only dropped to 21.0c, and that area never gets any sun. Just goes to show why it feels so uncomfortable in doors during these conditions. I would imagine many inner city areas last night didn’t drop below 21c.

Incomplete contrast to this day in Norfolk, 1960. the air temperature fell to –1c, now that’s better.

Just had my second warmest night in my 12 years of recording; it didn't drop below 17.1C. The only warmer night I've recorded was July 2nd 2001 when it didn't drop below 18.3C.
