It has been another warm and humid night, minimum temperature 14.5c. A bright start, but with a good deal of mid level cloud around. Almost overcast by the observation, with a few spots of moderate rain. A mostly cloudy, hot and humid day followed with only brief glimpses of the sun, even the odd spot of rain. Maximum temperature 26.4c.

incredibly hot for this time of morning, currently 27.4C!....having been outside, I can well believe it.....Already 34.6C in the sun!.....high humidity is going to make it feel one hot and uncomfortable day!

Highest temp so far officially is 24C. This is being recorded in numerous locations at 10am which is still very impressive.

According to a local weather station temps are rising 3.57hr which is much higher than yesterday!

Well a significantly sunnier start to the day and the temperatures are responding 27.4C already, so I would expect that we will break 30C for the first time this year today. The overnight 'low' was 18.4C which has helped todays temperature climb as high as it has already.

A lovely morning, the best for ages, 22.2°C ten minutes ago, very warm in the sun. a bit fo high cloud but whos complaining?

Sun has finally broken back most of the cloud, still a few degree's lower than it was around this time yesterday. Currently a rather pleasant 24.8c Rather sticky inside the buildings now tho as the heat isn't really being removed from them.

23.7 with 78% humidity sun broke through now this will help the temp jump up, expecting 25/26 today depending on the cloud amounts

Much better day with clear blue skies instead of the usual cloud. Looks like we don't have any stray troughs hanging about today at last.

"Only" 27c here at present, my sensor was close on 30c this time yesterday, the morning cloud has tempered back the temps a bit today. Feels more sticky tho.

26.0C and sunny but a touch cooler for the south side of London including heathrow, yesterday i recorded 30.1C but i was in portsmouth on sea where it was cool & cloudy, if u don't like the heat go live by the sea, really much cooler!

A sunny morning here in Portsmouth, though the sun has now turned quite hazy as some high cloud has rolled across the sky, feeling rather humid though.
