Am in a dip surounded by trees can see a few flashes far away. Really depressed because of back pain will keep watching and hoping. Thanks for the tip though MW enjoy the light show. <_<

The joys of the Medway Valley eh? The only reason I can see anything is because I'm on the top floor of our flats, light pollution from Lockmeadow doesn't help though!

That was about 2 or 3 minutes ago now. No more strikes as of yet.

This will be just like the last storm, 2 strikes in hours of waiting and 30 minutes of rain.

Lol, what "storm."

All i've had here is 1 lightning strike so far. Not a proper storm. I want to a see a decent storm. Like the ones I used to see over 5 years ago. Haven't seen a frequent lightning storm in years. I'm not sticking my head out the window or anything cos there's damn all to watch right now.

Some prolonged deep, but quite distant rumbles, only faintest of flashes of lightning visible at this low point in the centre of Inverness, damn miss my old house in this weather where I looked across almost the whole place! Sky is very ominous looking and it seems to moving from the direction the thunder seems to be coming from, so maybe closing in - but it could just be echoing off buildings!

Into the dry slot now, so I'm watching the clearing thunderstorms move northwards. Got a good veiw and they are still producing some decent lightning bolts which is giving a good display.

Now waiting for the next batch, probably got about an hours wait.

Well the heavens just opened themselves here, although it's eased off now. Pretty impressive lightning and thunder still going. I'd like some more please

Yea my son and I just drove back along the seafront in that rain, after sitting on one of the shelters on the seafront watching the lightshow as it came in. All seems to be quieting down now here though

almost constant pink lightning here now, storm began about an hour ago, Sky still not back on - flashes and rumbles!

Dogs won't settle, looks like a long night!!!?
