Big Thunderstorms Hit The Netherlands (21-07-2009)

    In the evening big thunderstorms formed and crossed the Netherlands with lots of rain and lightning strikes.

    The next photos wil give an impression of one of the nicest storms I have had this year.

    Whilst waiting for our weather to push off (to get some playtime in with the kids) I saw it start to develop (15:00hrs on the meto visible sat images) over Belgium and me and the kids got our hourly updates as it 'mushroomed' over the next 3 hrs and moved over you! Glad you got some shots for us to look at!!!smile.gif

    Those are quite some pics Jurgen! I especially like the way you have captured the deep colors of the storm clouds, they certainly look like they would give an excellent electrical show! :blink:
