A fresh thread for Saturday. Please keep your reports to the topic in hand. All reports will be checked, and any bogus reports will be removed.

Happy posting :p

PS: Thanks to Essex Snow for pointing out that a new thread was needed!

Although the BBC radar isn't showing much around here we keep getting the odd shower coming through, its snowing lightly outside now.

Another dusting here in Rushden recently (past 2-3 hrs probably, cars and pavements covered)- missed the snow falling as I was in Bedford getting drunk, but greeted me on my return. Likewise this morning, had a better than average dusting in Rushden. Not a sausage 15 miles south in Bedford. Has snowed here everyday since Sunday, but never significant. Just bloomin dustings.

Dustings all round.

Absolute white out here. At least 5cm has fallen tonight, possibly more, haven't measured it for a bit. Drifting in strong winds.

lo all my first posting though i've often kept a weather eye on forum :(

just a slight frost covering on cars is the best we've got here this morning with not much chance of any snow by the look of it. seem to think last major snowfall in doncaster might have been '82'ish.

Oh for some decent snow :p

Quite heavy (but fine) snow in central london presently.

Clouds are very laden with snow.

Not sure it will settle I think we have been just above freezing all night

I would - but they've shut the Tower down now - so not worth it.

Still intermitent snow flurries in central london - not sure of temperature but feels milder than last two days. I think snow would have settled yesterday morning had it fell

A dusting overnight on surfaces where snow had melted yesterday and the odd flurrying flake still out of the cloudy sky.

Still have 3 inches of snow in areas that are shaded all day (eg. my whole back garden)

This image is of Stan;ey, Co. Durham this morning: you can keep upto date via the following webcam as i think it will start snowing again in abut an hour by the looks of the clouds coming off the coast near newcastle:

Culdrose in SW Cornwall is reporting 45cm (18 inches) of lying snow this morning  It is certainly possible, considering the stream of convective showers they've had for about 3 consecutive days now. If it is true, thats just unbelievable.

I see Falmouth have had a fair bit of snow aswell- snow right by the coastline.
