Yes quite, the problem is we've had a very wet month and the ground is saturated here and rivers have been above average since the 9th of july ensuring a great ealy season start to fishing on the river for Salmon, My borther pulled a 10 pound salmon out the other day which is good for this river. Well as said it looks pretty bad but I Think areas like Wales and the South West are long used to heavy rain and therefore it should go down as pretty normal just not for JULY.

Very heavy rain here in north lake district near Keswick, have heard that river at Rydal burst banks overnight and that campers evacuated from campsite to Keswick school overnight. Ambleside show must be in danger of being cancelled if we get much more heavy rain.

It looks as if the real heavy rain staying south of lake district today, is that right ?

Moderate rain in Cardiff, persistant and looking at the radar looks possible for heavy too torrential for few hours later.

Ground water table is already high in most areas so can see the potential for localised problems with todays weather.
