Latest CET results in and a big well done to Terminal Moraine who got 3.1 spot on, North Sea Snow Convection was 0.1c out and Polar Side was 0.2c out.

From that you can probably guess it was a cold month.

I don't have the figure to hand (because the metoffice is slow at releasing data) but provisionally Scotland and N.Ireland has had its coldest December since 1981! (beating the frigid 1995)

Wow! Didn't expect them to have had a colder December than 1995!
