I feel there are some conservative guestimates out there, i just watched my local forecast for west countryand it said as low as -7 in rural areas and -3/4 in towns!?

think I'm a little too far NE for major competition tonite, Rosehearty on the far NE Coast is till showing +6c

another Scottish site with sortable columns shows the SW is coldest so far (aside from the Highlands frost hollow which is, Loch Glascarnoch) with temps around -4 to -6. Assuming this is going over the borders too as Shap showing fairly cold -3/-4 too

Um well I achieved -7.6 in January but I don't think we will go that low.

Currently -0.7 was -0.8, forecast is -4 for Kelso but I don't think we are going to see that either!

I think we will probably be lucky to reach -2.5 here

On the west side my friend at Falkirk reached -2.4 at 8:24pm but now she is at -1.7 so that suggests to me there is more cloud about tonight that the BBC have been forecasting!!

At this rate it is entirely possible that -0.8 was my lowest temp of the night!
