Temp now up at 3.8C with what looks like sleet falling now, hope it turns to snow soon although with these temps no chance really, hope the temps fall soon so it can turn to snow!

Hi Guys,

Gilfach, Bargoed - Raining here so not looking too good - temperature gone from +0.7 to +2.8 in the last 20 minutes so climbing quickly. The warm sector is taking control and will probably stay as rain until it clearslater and then will freeze!

JK

NOT HAPPY lol ground is soaked from this sleet with puddles sad.gif so even if it did snow, no real chance of it sticking now anyway unless it was really heavy, and seeming this is Bridgend, that wont happen cray.gif

Spells of rain, some sleet past 2 hours, temperature reached the highest of the day so far at 3.3c 15 minutes ago, however falling steadily now on 2.2c and the winds veered north so still a chance I guess. Hope you get a covering in the SE.

I think this back edge thing/business really is true.... after snow showers all day here near Aberystwyth some rain arrived and the temp went right up to 3.5C. Recently the temp dropped very fast to about 1C and still falling and now its snowing. Slush is starting to re freeze.

When the colder air gets to you, it'll freeze and then any snow will settle easy. I imagine ice is going to be a real issue shortly.
