A frosty start with a slight dusting of frozen hail too from yesterday evening. Some of the iciest conditions I've seen with the lane covered in ice/hail/ this morning with up to an inch of ice/frozen slush in spots. The fields were very icy as the water from the heavy showers that fell onto frozen ground yesterday just sat on the surface and then froze. Icy now where it didn't melt today.

Mostly cloudy all day with a sheet of high level cloud and some lower stuff at times

Not as cold last night as recent nights though (which reached -5°C or a bit below) min was -2.5°C.

Temp: 0.2°C

Dew point: -0.1°C

Wind: 0-3mph (NNW)

Pressure: 986.7mb

Max temp today: 3.6°C at 14:14

Min temp today: -2.5°C at 03:59

Drove to Coventry today.

Sunny when left home, mist and fog at times from brecon. Most parts across wales had some snow cover with Crickhowell and Abergavenny having 2 or 3 inches unmelted snow and snow/rime on trees. Little snow left through midlands.

Max at home

4.6c @ 1330.

Cloudy and cold here Coventry hardly any snow left. Current temp 0.8c.

Was -6.0C at around 8pm, since then in dropped to -4.7C and has now risen up to -6.2C. 3cms of frozen snow still lying so it will probably be a white Christmas morning at least, before the rain/sleet arrives.
