Hello All,

Not posted since February's events but been watching this thread over the past month... things are getting interesting again it seems! Fingers crossed for later.. though it seems we are out of the firing line.

Kate

Hi Kate,

I think you might get lucky as the week progresse's according to some earlier forecast's.

So if not tomorrow maybe later this week, stay tuned as thing's can change rather quickly.

News 24 just said S/E Wales can expect up to 30 cm's

lol...goodluck for later this week.

I was just thinking if BBC24 are saying S/E Wales for up to 30 cm's then surely BrISTOL Could well and truly get pasted...

Or further north up the Severn also...

Or is Bristol to far South??

Just a thought...

EDIT

It might be heavy enough Jay to reach lower level's??

I reckon your in one of the prime spots..

Local weather on the Beeb just now predicts rain for most of us, but snow for Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and into s.e. wales. The graphic did show the snow just nudging into North BTL, south glos for a time tomorrow.

The main snow event seems to be for New Years Eve.

National Beeb forecast just now also shows rain unfortunately. Not even snow for Glos until after midday. Seems like most of us are on the edge of the white stuffmad.gif

Spotlight going for rain all the way, and the temp difference between the N and S coasts of Devon tmrw will be 4c and 10c, thats crazy.

Anyway, bored of being in the balmy SW. Happy New Year guys and good luck.

Ciao.

Reckon you guys will see some snow action tomorrow, but anyone know why S.E. wales which is about 5 miles from here seem to be in the firing line and not south glos?

EDIT: Wonder if Ian will post this evening with his latest thoughts?

yeah just watched the weather forecast realy rubbish for the whole of the SW now, so unless you live in Wales its rain all the way.. Temps will be on the rise, for us but if you live north of the M4 you might see a flake.. Wales looks the best place to be.. All went tit's up in the end :cold:. Never mind i wont give up hope till at least April :p

Enjoy if you do get any

lol kaz x

temps +6 here ... only just looked.. they were +4 at 5.30 so just shows how they are on the rise.

mm..not sure, but I look at it like this.

Seeing it's not to far away the chance's are extremely higher to get the same as they get.

If it was 50 miles away a different story!!

I think its only 22 miles to the malvern's from here..

Good luck everyone dont give up just yet, many twist's and turn's the weather.

To me it still seem's bag's full of potential for many.

And tomorrow is the day it all unfold's

M4 mainly I think northwards Mullender

Not sure if there is going to be any snow south of the M4.

Looks like a couple of days of cold rain, with temps around 2-3c, maybe occasionally turning to sleet/snow.

Yeah on the model forum theyre already ramping up the snow for next week and thru til March lol, will they ever learn. Living on the south coast in Poole I can recall maybe 1cm of snow in the last ten years, and I dont expect any difference from this latest spell.
