intensity has definitely fallen away around us this past 15 minutes. lots less deep pink on the radar now.

still quite an intense band heading for cardiff though Jay.

hard to say. there are isolated showers up north, but i doubt they'll have the pep to get all the way down here, but you never know. There is an intense stream developing off the Irish sea, but it is going to slip south of us by the looks of it.

the band heading for you is weakening all the time too.

Snow here good covering, less intense now. Drove home from my nans house she lives on very high ground towards Merthyr way still snow there and snowing again as we made our way home, didnt expect to see it down here lol.

Clear and bone dry here :drinks:.

The streamer seems to be heading in a more southerly direction now which isn't good for South-Mid and South-East Wales.

Just had to get my brother from ammanford the roads round here are terrible even in ammanford got 3 inches here and about 2 inches in ammanford. i wonder if that intense line will come past here.

VERY HEAVY SNOW HERE.

So I was right? :D

It looked like that here but its cleared us, 10 minutes of heavy snow lol, maybe further east it will last much longer.

30 minute heavy shower here - quite white outside - probably got nearly an inch - fascinating as I was going out - stayed in instead!

Dry now - clear skies - already -0.4 degrees - slippery out and freezing hard. Is that it for the night - if so - nice surprise.
