What a difference 24hours makes. This time yesterday it was around 17c and rising with clear skies. This morning its currently 14.2c barely rising, (around 0.5c/h apparently) and its cloudy with a breeze.

Was 13C at 7am this morning, currently a pleasant 16C...cloud appears to be breaking up already (early than previously thought), with a gentle ENE breeze, I suspect temperatures could creep towards 20C here today.

11C and sunny. The sun is strong enough that I walked to and from school in short sleeves at 8.30am, so another lovely day despite the "low" temperature.

The day continued fine with good sunny periods, though feeling fresher today in the moderate westerly wind Top temperature 24.3c. Maximum wind gust 17mph.

What changes in temperature for here over the past 48 hours

Sunday at 1000 it was 24.3C

Monday same time 21.4C

and today 11.9C and no sun either.

So a drop of 9.5C since the same time yesterday and 12.4C since Sunday.

Noted some significant haze, suggest a fair bit moisture aloft. Furthermore, there appears to be (hard to tell due to the brightness of the haze) mid level Ac floating about, suggesting some instability. If this pattern correlates all the way along to the west, I wouldn't be surprised to see a scattered downpour or thunderstorm down in the SW corner, combining with a small area of CAPE/LIs...while there is a cool breeze it is still warm feeling when out in the sun!

Ironically last night's minimum was the highest of the hot spell even though all forecasts said it would be cooler!

And today continues beautifully with warm hazy sunshine, scattered fair weather Cumulus and current temperature of 20.9c. There is a freshish NE breeze but it's not cool.

Edit : forgot the humidity, it's up on recent days at 56%.

Sunny, its pretty warm in the sun, but there is a strong breeze and its cooler in the shade. Currently 18.5c which is a good 5-6c down on this time yesterday.

Humidity is around 50% which is double what it was yesterday at around 25-30%

Quite a notable late-spring switcharound. Some 14C down on the same time just 2 days ago.
