I have to say I think they are rather late in issuing this for the back end of this week. I wonder why they were so reluctant to do so?

perhaps if you carefully read the whole bit about temperatures?

Temperatures near or above normal, and locally warm any sunny spells. Temperatures returning to nearer average from later next week, with an increasing risk of overnight frost in the north. A greater chance of rain across the UK into the following week, although mainly in the west and northwest. Still plenty of dry weather though, particularly in the southeast, but temperatures falling a little below normal across all parts.

Apologies it was incorrect read :)

UK Outlook for Thursday 15 Nov 2012 to Saturday 24 Nov 2012:

A good deal of cloud around at first, with any overnight fog patches slow to clear through the day. Cloud thick enough to give some rain, mainly in northern and western parts of the UK. Occasional brighter spells are possible elsewhere and perhaps more generally to the northwest later. Mild overnight, with daytime temperatures around normal for November and perhaps mild in any brighter spells. Mixed conditions thereafter, with cloudy periods giving spells of rain, heavy at times, particularly in the north and west. Also some brighter spells, with a few showers, mainly to the north and west where they may be wintry over hills. Southern and eastern parts staying reasonably dry with rain generally short lived. Colder overnight generally, and also through the day in the north and west.
