Loving the Pre Chrimbo Drinks idea Dave!

You know that me and Ian will be around and I would guess we could tempt Jo, Clare and Big Stu out as well as Mr Finnis as he is based in SW London now as well.

2nd Week in December ?? Something like that ok ??

I am enjoying the enthusiasm for the drinks!

How does a provisional date of Friday the 10th of December grab everyone?

Just watched lastest episode of Storm Chasers, Reed went to Band Camp when he was a kid, ahahahaha, next week looks good and shame about Matt.

Jo, I will have you know that I am full of good ideas, although deciding to share a room with you this year, probably not my finest ;-P

Oh, how can I get my forum name changed, need to get Amarillo in there still!

May I suggest we us the same GPS tracking technology that we use stateside to make sure Pat doesn’t go AWAL on us again. :acute:

Hi Dave hope you well drinks sounds like a plan unfortunatly I am on nights that week can make any day the week before and the week starting the 13th except the Friday 17th but if you all can make the 10th then feel free to party on as long as someone gives me the goss the next day lol

right booked hotel room for the 5th march looking forward to this now!,

have just been on hotels.com and they have uped the price to £90 but if you go on to the Mucure web site they are still doing rooms for £55 per room so the time is now to book your rooms before the rate sores up to something stupid will post runners and riders.

Hotel Update

I have now booked our room for the meet up. As Ian says room rates are cheaper if you phone the hotel. They currently have two rates flexible £63 ish and fixed £53 ish, If you phone and book flexible you hold room with credit/debit card and can change to fixed nearer the time. If you book fixed your card is charged and you can't change the booking. You can book the flexible and watch out for any special offers which are occasionaly adverstised by the Mecure. If you see an offer and contact them they will be able to amend your flexible to whatever the offer rate is. The girl on the reception is called Emma.

Awaiting Paul S, Dave V, Nick F, and others.

I suggest somewhere mid-town or city - the west end is dreadful with christmas parties around that time.

HEY LADS!

Went on my first ever storm chase yesterda ( in ireland! ) , we went to achill island in sligo.

We experienced 100mph winds on top of Menawn mountain ( 400m asl)

Wildest weather ive ever been in!!

We posted our stuff on the irish weather page ( www.irishweatheronline.com) and the admin got an email from the US weather channel asking could they air some of our footage this morning, which they did!

ANd now the site is gettin flooded by people from all over america!!! :D

Good oul warm up for next may i think! :D:D:D

How about Amber near Moorgate. It used to be Digress and is quite good with a happy hour between 4-7pm.

Everywhere will be extremely busy on this day as it is prime office christmas party season, so if people were in agreement of this venue, I would be happy to put a guest list together for us.
