Cloudy and humid after a recent shower, 15.1c, the overnight low was a mild 13.1c.

cloudy here and was at dawn with thick layers of Ac As but never looked Cas type, some patchy Sc beneath it; a low of 13.2C, only 2C below the long term average Max!, its now on 16.7C with a dewpoint of 9.2C

the nearest ascent close to Nottingham suggests T needs to be 26+C to trigger local storms but the Brest ascent suggests a lower value of about 22C, and this is the area from where most of the advected activity is going to be coming.

A Sunny start quickly giving way too cool cloudy weather with the odd light shower. I think Johns post confirms what I suspected. Unless the sun comes out no storms during the day at least unless we catch some decaying left overs from elsewhere.

Far too much cloud around - all we need is some sunshine and it will feel genuinely warm.

No thunder in Norwich, but certainly notable for warmth- 24C at Norwich Airport! It feels quite humid to me, but actually the dew point is only 8C, so there must be other reasons for the rather sultry feel.

Feeling very muggy today, currently 19.4c, even the wind feels warm.

Shower/rain activity now heading into south cumbria, but not looking very exciting on the radar just a spell of rain likely and I thought it would be developing into something beefy given the cape, shear and high DP's Nothing following on behind so a nice afternoon could be in prospect after the band of rain has passed.
