I realise this thread is for today's activity, but looking at the forecast of the surface pressure charts on the MetO website, could the trough predicted to move south/SW on Thursday finally mean something for my area around Bristol? Forgive me as i'm no expert or anything, just wanted to get some of your opinions and info of any CAPE/Li values for thursday!

Hi ya,

Let's hope this does occur ,that certainly would be good if it does come about.:) Nothing here as per usual so it's back to the NSC for me.:(

It's been chucking it down for ages, but the sky is brightening to my west.The shower is heading straight for the grimsby area.

could really do with a storm down here - I have a stinking "humidity headache" because the air is really thick & humid at the moment. Got very heavy rain again now :blush:

Cape did seem pretty good for us up here (with the charts posted quite a few pages back can't remember where) but it's been a totally dead day weatherwise and can't see it happening now

Should be with me in about 20 mins then, but could lose its intensity like the previous one. It is certainly a very large and organised area though. Still cloudy here with just a little light rain falling.

Gosh, that was such an intense line of thunderstorms it was beyond the realms of human hearing blink.gif

As usual just degenerated into a mass of drizzly rain but luckily stayed dry here :D

Have been watching my postcode SS9 All day and if anything gets within 25 miles of here it just vanishes!

Testing out the V6 Version of the Sherman Shield today and everything in full working order :drinks:

Have cut the grass, had a cold Magners and now looking at the lovely Summers day with temps around 21-22c

4 weeks to Arizona :drunk::clap::hi:

The showers seem to have largely ground to a halt and Cleadon has had just a few spots today- just cloudy and dry here now.
