16.5 please. Warm start then cooler and fresher towards mid month. I'm then hoping for a warm settled spell during the second half of the month.

What will the summer CET turn out to be?

Well if this August was as hot as 1995, the summer CET would be 16.1C

And if it was as cool as August 1912, then it will be 14.0C

If August is the same as the 1971-2000 average then this summer will be the coolest since 1993

A CET of around 15.5C and it will be the coolest since 1988

CET is 20.2 to the 1st

Very warm first few days however the 5th-11th looks a cool period which should knock the CET back quite a bit.

Still confident of my 15.4C as i have always expected an appaling second half.

Models will likely be over the place in FI now due to TS Emily and its recurve, until that is sorted the CET could be up or down by quite a margin.

CET is 20.2 to the 1st

Now thats more like it, even just to record a daily CET of 20c+ is notable considering the summer so far.
