Did they airbrush out the smashed in co-op cashpoint, racist atmosphere, and cider-swigging kids, then?

slightly off topic, everyone in Tow Law is related so the gene pool is well short.you can spot the die hards by the wool growing out the back of their necks.

That video is hilarious, it might even tip a plastic chair over if carelessly left out in the open.

Much stronger than that here now.

Small differences between the UKMO and GFS, the UKMO placing the low further south at T24 (but not by much). It now seem the strongest winds will be across Southern Scotland, NI and Northern England.

12z UKMO and NAE taking a more southerly track with UKMO model showing the strongest winds further south across Southern Scotland and Northern England.

Beco gone to basic mode due to high traffic.

They have also updated forecasts. (beco.org.uk) had to refresh saved sites.

Looking at the agreement in the 12z runs I think that risk map would need reviewed and changes made. Everything has moved further southwards on latest guidance.

Yep I agree with that. Looks to me like S Scotland/N parts of N England, N Ireland are going to be hit hard especially locations such as Glasgow, Edinburgh.

Personally I haven't bothered with Beco since I looked on there this morning and their headline called this system Katina. At least get the name right !

Strange that K1 (south west UK) K2 M3 and M6 all falling rapidly South of and west of Ireland, but K4 (due west of Belfast) and K5 ( between Hebrides and Iceland) are still rising, looking at the models i would have expected the south ones to drop slower and the northern ones to be dropping like a stone around now.

At the moment it's breezy here, not particularly windy, and even if it did move any further south on subsequent runs, I wouldn't expect any strong winds here, due to being protected by the hills. I would expect maybe an odd 30mph gust here.

I'm surprised its been shifted south and weakened a little bit, but we need to keep a close eye on it.

Definitely for here though, no worries whatsoever, a breeze rather than a wind.
