Strongest wind gust from the Great Storm: 15mph. Some "hurricane".

It's hardly even started yet.

A bit of a breeze here at the moment, but nothing significant. A band of heavy frontal rain has just cleared.

It's fairly calm so far and wet, a bit breezy though I fully expect things to liven up later. 16.1C

Either it was a rapid development on the Cold Front or the radar was glitched until 07.30ish!

Certainly caught me out as I viewed all radar slides from 05.00-07.00 with nothing near my area, went out to work and got caught in

very blustery, heavy rain from 07.30-08.30!

Sunny now lol, very warm feeling and humid too at 17.6c/89%!

Currently dry, mild and windy here with short sunny intervals. The overnight rain was heavier than I expected but had cleared by 0700 g.m.t, apart from a few light showers. A gust of 64 mph here a short time ago, just 1 mph lower than the September record set in 1998.

Current temp' is 15.5c after a min' of 11.3c and a grass min' of 10.6c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0800 g.m.t, 11.0 mm

Mean wind speed, 39 mph W, gusting to 64 mph

Vis', over 80 km.
