As the tropical airmass pushed through and continues to do so, dew points, uppers and temperatures rose rapidly after midnight here. Despite being at 11c at 11pm, it's now 15.8c at 8am under medium-level cloud. Should be quite warm with up to 10c uppers approaching by midday, probably catch about 20c around the SE of the nation, but by evening a cool blast from the nw and a polar airmass occurs and our first '-' uppers for a while reach our shores, before turning northerly later on Thursday bringing drier weather but cooler uppers, approaching -5c in the Shetlands and -4c in the far north of Scotland - this before approaching high pressure and another milder weekend, sunny, drier and quite mild (20c possible again) in the south, cloudy, windier and wetter in the north the theme for Saturday and Sunday.

There seem to have been a lot of days in the last 3 or so months where my post in here at around lunch time makes mention of steriotypical warm sector conditions for this area!

And it's happening again today ; breezy from the SW, warm, humid, extensive Stratocumulus, some drizzly showers and some sunshine at times.

Dry and bright at the moment, 17.9c with humidity 82%.

Had some foul weather here in the last hour or two. Awaiting the passing of the cold front. A quick look at the GFS ensemble temps for Aberdeenshire and Cornwall.

Currently 16.8c with a dew point of 13.5c here. Clear spells and quick, moving cloud. Very windy day from the W/WSW.

NMM has dew points here in NE England to start dropping at 8ish - quite symmetrical to the GFS showing it's approach at 9pm. First minus uppers of the Autumn heralding something somewhat cooler arrive over here towards the morning - aswell as dew points as low as 3c to 4c by dawn, before slowly rising by the morning, and under a milder patch incursion tomorrow evening should reach 8c/9c again before falling for the forthcoming northerly 'toppler' for Friday.

Expecting very blustery, cool, sunny and at times showery weather from the polar source here tomorrow, true autumnal weather, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Humid and dull day with a high of a warm 19c, recently had a fairly heavy shower which was the first time anything more than a few spots of rain has fallen in quite some time!

Currently 16.8c and still rather humid.
