I can't believe theres only a dusting in Sheffield, the radar looked really good for your area, better than here.

How much have you got so far, what's your temperature? Pretty sure its freezing here but haven't got a thermometer.

I've given up on snow now. Thanks to the Pennines, I don't think we'll get much, even with the heavier outlook for the showers. Decided to clos the curtains and watch the Calcutta Cup on the box instead. C'MON ENGLAND!!!!!

It's the gradient of them there hills to our west elevating the clouds then skipping over the valleys at the eastern edge. Eg Huddersfield. Radar looks ok tho, give it an hour or I'm off on a last minute holiday to Lincoln.

LOL Beeb making it sound like Siberia. Heathrow cancels flights for tomorrow. This country gets more embarrassing every year.

Depth of snow here 1 mm 1cm in drifts if that.

I know what you mean! I lost count of the times Wakefield missed out with the snow but as soon as you got to Dewsbury they had tons. I am pretty sure ALL areas will have a covering by tomorrow morning though.

That hole above Huddersfield is moving east above Barnsley now.. and I suspect it will continue to move further east still - it appears the precipitation to the west is making good inroads here

i do find it mad that the pennines are causing the snow drought in hudds - seriously if its heavy rain it would be pelting it down!!! LOL

Me too, a couple of flakes now, looks like a grey blanket coming our way soon!

Heavier stuff does seem to be getting closer, albeit very slowly
