a few more from me. Im so chuffed I finally caught a Robin in my garden when I had the camera AND in the snow No temps to report as I haven't got a weather station....yet! There is no thaw out there though, snow completely compacted on the paths too.

Just got back in from 3 hours of Sledging - Got some amazing pictures of Belfairs Woods which I will upload, snow still on Tree Trunks and Branches with little or no thaw. Roads are very good around here with snow piled up in the middle of the road and compacted snow on the side roads which is pretty easy to drive on...............atm!

Will get some pictures uploaded soon but a general 14-16cm looks to have been pretty much nailed across this region from Rayleigh to Leigh On Sea to Ashingdon and Wakering.

Just been for a five mile walk around the village and surrounding area. A couple of pics below. It's 1.1degC here but no noticable snow melt.

Anyone know what the level was this morning in Walthamstow (North-East London) or nearby locations? I've put it down as 12/13cm but need some justification for this...

Just got home from an afternoon spent in the snow at Hall Place (Bexley). I may upload some pics later - depends if I manage it or not (not being very technical minded!)

Certainly a slow thaw going on - probably lost around half the snow we woke up to. Only got 1.5 - 2" left of snow that hasn't been trampled on.

Temps maxed out today at 2.1 and dew 1.2 at 1pm. Now temp 0.5 and dew is -0.1.

Only seem to have lost a cuple of cms and the dripping has now stopped. Woop

Recent temperature of 0.3c and a Dewpoint of -1.1c

So no ice day here in the end but the temperature has only just crept above 0.0c at around 1500 to 1545 and is now back on its way down.

Lost about 1cm today with still 13-14cm on the grass in the back garden!

we had another ice day here in thanet , temp at ramsgate got no higher then -1.0c (which it is now) and very little snow loss infact with the cars going along the road you are still unable to see any road surface within the tyre tracks!!

Some pics from Surbiton. Shows our street and lamp post in full snowy flow at midnight last night, and then somewhat thawed by the time I got up this morning. Still managed to retain a decent covering on Telegraph Hill, Hinchley Wood this afternoon with dog and son, but the slushy conditions down the hill and through the woods meant no chance of sledging... this time, hoping for some of those teleconnections to bring us something more before winter is out

Just short of 10cm on the car in the end,a little more in the fields where we have been sledging.Must be on the border of the colder air,not much snow melt.Waiting for some more,maybe wednesday?

Had around 5 inches last night, slight thaw today but i reckon we still have 90% of our snow cover. I suspect there'll be further slight thaws over the next 24-36 hours before colder air moves back in. So even if we can hold onto 50% of our snow cover by then i'll be happy, because it will then stick around for the rest of the week, probably.

Good day for me in the end, drove inland and east towards chailey/hawyards heath and there was snow on the downs and about 10cms in chailey area, went for a nice walk and made snowmen and took pics, nothing in Hove but enjoyed the deep snow inland also can acess snow within 20 mins walk in in higher brighton where some snow has remained.
