Morning all! Lovely sunny blue sky here this morning.

Where you off to then MK? Somewhere exciting?

It's not excitement I need, it's rest and relaxation ....

    Nice......enjoy your holiday MK. blum.gif

Im still trying to work out where it all went wrong stormwise in my neck of the woods yesterday. Twice during the afternoon, day practically turned to night as some of the most ominous clouds Ive ever seen swirled into view. ( Mesoscale captured it very well on video just up the road from me in Watford ) It really looked as though all hell was set to break loose.

Then it just rained a bit.

Ok, I did manage to hear some thunder rumbling away in the distance and did actually see one flash of lightning, but that was it. The sum total of so much potential. Baffling.

Keraunophile could be in the firing line for a storm soon. There is t&l to her west now. Don't want to tempt fate though... unsure.png

I was going to post something similar last night, but didn't want to create false hope, as the main activity looked further north.

*tsk* typos but you know what I mean, exotic drinks not birds - only problem is I can't remember which ones I liked best last year so I'll just have to try them all again to find out....

An all right day here really, threatening clouds all the while but nothing falling from the sky.

Will be a horrible day tomorrow weatherwise, and it's my birthday (will be 19)...typical really.

OMG! Just out of curiosity I looked up the definition of my forum name and it seems that a Keraunophile is a person who.....erm, aah, ahem, gets erm turned on by T& L. :o I DON'T, I thought it just meant the opposite of Keraunophobe, someone who is scared of thunder and lightning. Oh dear. :(

Should I change it to Keraunic? As in Keraunic Level.

There will be room going out as I've left some space for my duty free perfume and some honey rum but you will have to make your own travel arrangements to get home blum.gif

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average. Despite a colder drier respite on Monday, staying generally unsettled to see out the rest of the month. But hints of some drier weather in early April. Read the full update here
