Morning all :) Heading back to Norfolkshire today after a pleasant sojourn in the South - I think we were very lucky with the weather, only one sharp shower at the hockey on Tues and a hot day at Greenwich on Mon, the rest of the week has been more dry than wet thankfully. Looks like showers (standard version) for home for the next few days.

Welcome home luvvy. Well, don't hold yer breath but.......supposed to be T&L for us today. :D We shall see huh?

Big rain at 6.30 this morning almost flooded the streets with about 8mm in 30 mins. Looks like some people are going to see storms today in the North of our region, see my post in the convective thread for ideas from the various dedicated storm websites and agencies

Morning all.

I've got to say that tomorrow's CAPE LI charts on the Hi Res Model look the best I've seen for a while over our area. Hopefully some of us should get some cracking storms!

Here are example charts for 17:00 tomorrow.

Today might provide some decent action too.

I can never be sure of these things, but my gut feel is that once this stuff to the north of London moves NE, then I think there will only be scattered showers in the south of our area, so we might have a reasonable afternoon - I'm hoping so, as I've outdoor plans. Norfolk etc. will have a better chance all day.

Tomorrow's a different kettle of fish though, with much more widespread activity, lasting into the night (as JP has intimated earlier)

Only my opinion though.smile.png

Few rumbles of thunder here (outskirts of Cambridge) as well as a slight few on and off showers.

More expected over the course of the day, hoping it avoids us here though.
